Returns & Warranty Policy
At SplashCraft Pool Maintenance (SplashCraft), we want you to be confident when purchasing pool equipment, parts and products from us. This policy explains our approach to change-of-mind returns, faulty products and warranty claims.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Change-of-Mind Returns
We accept change-of-mind returns within 14 days of delivery or collection, subject to the following conditions:
- The product must be unused, uninstalled and in its original condition.
- The product must be returned in its original packaging, including all accessories, manuals and components.
- The packaging and product must be in a condition suitable for resale.
- Proof of purchase from SplashCraft is required.
- You must contact us before returning the product.
For an approved change-of-mind return, the customer is responsible for the cost and risk of returning the product to SplashCraft. Original delivery charges are not refundable.
Once the returned product has been received and inspected, an approved refund will be processed using the original payment method.
Products Excluded from Change-of-Mind Returns
Unless required by law, we do not accept change-of-mind returns for:
- pool chemicals or chemical products;
- products that have been opened, used or installed;
- pumps, chlorinators, controllers or other electrical equipment that have been installed or commissioned;
- products that have been damaged after delivery;
- specially ordered, customised or non-standard products ordered specifically for the customer; or
- products that cannot reasonably be resold as new.
These exclusions apply only to change-of-mind returns and do not affect your rights where a product is faulty or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
If a product is faulty, damaged on arrival or incorrectly supplied, please contact SplashCraft as soon as reasonably possible.
Please provide your order or invoice details, a description of the problem and, where appropriate, photographs or other information that will help us assess the issue.
SplashCraft may need to inspect or arrange assessment of the product before determining the appropriate remedy.
Manufacturer Warranties
Many products sold by SplashCraft are supplied with a manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty periods and conditions vary by product.
Where appropriate, SplashCraft may assist with a warranty claim or arrange assessment or repair through the manufacturer’s authorised service or warranty network.
Manufacturer warranties are in addition to any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Installation and Product Use
Some pool equipment must be installed, commissioned or connected in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and applicable electrical, plumbing or other regulatory requirements.
Manufacturer warranty coverage may be affected where equipment has been incorrectly installed, operated outside its specifications, modified, damaged through misuse or inadequately maintained.
How to Request a Return or Warranty Assessment
Before returning a product, please contact SplashCraft Pool Maintenance through our website or using the contact details provided on your order confirmation or invoice.
Please provide:
- your name;
- order or invoice number;
